Stirk House Hotel

Stirk House is a manor house hotel near Gisburn with 22 acres of grounds and 33 bedrooms. Ceremonies take place in the Gallery, which seats 113, and two outdoor areas are licensed: the lawn known as Pendle View, which seats up to 125, and the Stirk Tree, a sycamore surrounded by decking. An outdoor ceremony carries an extra fee. The Ballroom holds up to 250 for the wedding breakfast and evening party, and smaller wedding breakfasts of 40 or fewer are held in the Gallery. Only one wedding is held each day, and complete exclusivity of the hotel can also be arranged. The full package includes a three-course set menu cooked by the hotel and a honeymoon suite for the couple. Packages range from an elopement for two to seasonal packages for 40 or 50 guests.
