The Higher Trapp Hotel

Higher Trapp is a 29-bedroom country hotel at Simonstone, between Padiham and Whalley, run by Lavender Hotels. It is licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships. The Pendle Suite seats up to 120 for a wedding breakfast and holds up to 200 for an evening reception. The grounds include landscaped lawns and a pagoda used for ceremonies, and the house has an oak staircase, open fireplaces and leaded windows. Packages run from Small and Intimate to All Inclusive, All Exclusive, which includes full venue hire and the bedrooms for guests. A Twilight package covers an evening celebration for 60 guests. On selected dates the hotel offers a Get Married in 2027 package for £2,027. Catering is part of the packages, with canapés, wedding breakfasts and evening buffets. Open days are held through the year.
